Agora que a chuva chegou  e vai mesmo ficar para o fim de semana, os planos são ficarmos por casa e:
Tricotar roupinhas de bebe para a novas encomendas.
Fazer mais umas voltas nas mantinhas de croché que tenho em progresso.
Ver televisão e visitar os vossos blogs.
E para acompanhar tudo beber um chá quentinho com bolo de maçã.

Apenas para partilhar alguns momentos desta semana que passou.
Tenho estado e aprender novas técnicas em tricô, alguns tecidos e lãs novos e novas experiências culinárias, como este bolo de banana com pepitas de chocolate!
Que já tinha ouvido falar muito, mas que nunca tinha sequer provado. A receita encontrei aqui. Eu acrescentei as pepitas de chocolate como vi em outras receitas de bolo de banana como este aqui na Quitandoca. O bolo é muito saboroso e deixou um cheirinho maravilhoso pela casa!

Just to share with you some moments of the past week.
I have been learning new knitting tecniques , some new fabrics and yarns and some new cook experiences like this banana cake with chocolate chips!
I had heard much about this cake, but I had never even tasted. The recipe I found  here that you can easily translate on google. I added the chocolate chips as seen in other recipes banana cake like this here in Quitandoca.The cake is very tasty and left a perfume throughout the house!

Para o fim de semana tenho este projecto em tricô para terminar, e este bolinho de limão para acompanhar.

Para esta sexta feira tão cinzenta tenho mais dois quadradinhos do projecto "Almofada Portuguesa" e a acompanhar um chá de cidreira com biscoitos "Fidalguinhos de Braga", que já faço há anos e nunca enjoo deles!

Os dois quadradinhos de croché de hoje são esquemas que encontrei na net. Por isso, como tinha prometido, deixo-vos o link!

O quadradinho do malmequer com centro laranja, encontrei no blog Magia do Crochet, onde a Nélia descreve aqui.

Já o segundo é Lucy do blog Attic24, com as suas preciosas explicações aqui.

Quanto aos biscoitos deixo-vos aqui a receita para quem quiser experimentar!

"Fidalguinhos de Braga"

2 ovos

250gr de açúcar

200ml de natas

900gr de farinha (se necessário 1kg)

raspa de 1 limão grande

Juntar todos os ingredientes numa taça grande e amassar com as mãos até que a massa se possa moldar.

Formar os biscoitos a gosto (os torcidos são os tradicionais) e colocar num tabuleiro previamente untado com manteiga e farinha.

Levar ao forno a cerca de 190ºC por 7a 8 minutos.

For this grey friday I have two more granny squares to the  "Almofada Portuguesa" project and with the company of a melissa tea and "Fidalguinhos de Braga" cookies that I do for years!

"Fidalguinhos de Braga"

2 eggs
250gr sugar
200ml double cream
900gr of flour (if necessary 1kg)
zest of 1 large lemon

Add all ingredients in a large bowl and knead with hands until dough can be cast.
Form the cookies (the twists are the traditional way) and place on a board previously greased with butter and flour.
Bake at about 190 ° C for 7 to 8 minutes.

Almofada portugesa II

Continuo a fazer trabalhos já iniciados e vou intercalando com mais uns quadradinhos de croché para o projecto da Almofada Portuguesa.

Aproveito para fazer alguns que sempre quis tentar mas ainda não tinha tido oportunidade, como o das florinhas azuis que vem neste livro.

Além disso, alguns quadradinhos que estou a fazer são modelos livres. mais tarde mostro aqui os resultados com os links.

Realmente parece que a primavera está aí a espreitar, mas por aqui até já nevou hoje e promete continuar!

Para o fim de semana de frio que aí vem , esperam-me mais uns quadradinhos , um bolo de chocolate e aquele pão caseiro de que já falei aqui.

I still do working in already started projects and sometimes a make a few granny squares for the "Almofada Portuguesa" project.

I take this opportunity to do some granny squares that I always wanted to try but had not yet the time as this one of the blue tiny flowers in this book.
Some granny squares that I am making  are free patterns and I will show later the results with the links.

It really seems that spring is coming but has even snowed here today and promises to continue!
To the cold weekend that is coming, I expect a few more granny squares, a chocolate cake and homemade bread that I have already mentioned here.

do fim de semana - my weekend

Este fim de semana resolvi experimentar fazer pão, mas desta vez sem utilizar a máquina de fazer pão.
Já tinha visto este vídeo há meses e no sábado à noite resolvi fazer.
O resultado é mesmo muito bom, tipo pão de água e estaladiço por fora e muito saboroso.
Ainda fiquei com mais de metade da massa no frigorífico para cozer durante a semana.
Tão bom ter pão quentinho a sair do forno e em casa! Huum..adorei!
Eu usei as dicas e tradução do blog A Minhas Receitas.

Quanto à manta, está quase quase a chegar ao fim.
Em breve mostro o resultado final.

This weekend I decided to try making bread, but this time without using the bread maker.
I had seen this video some months ago and on Saturday night I decided to do it.
The result is really good, like water bread and on the outside crispy and very tasty.
I still have over half of dough in the fridge to cook during the week.

So nice to have the warm bread from the oven at home! Huummm .. I loved it!

Espírito natalício - Christmas spirit

Esta semana colocamos finalmente a decoração de Natal aqui em casa.
Fizemos bolachinhas de manteiga e chocolate em forma de estrela e pinheirinhos.(receita daqui)
A rena fiz para o meu afilhado J. colocar na árvore de Natal. Espero que ele goste.. :o) (esquema aqui)
Agora os dias passam a voar e há que aproveitar bem cada dia.

This week finaly we put Christmas decorations here at home.
We made butter and chocolate cookies in the shape of stars and Christmas trees. (recipe here)
The reindeer I made for my godson J. put on the Christmas tree. I hope he likes... : o) pattern here
From now the days are flying and we should enjoy each day.

Não tinha mesmo previsto este post, mas passei o dia a fazer várias tarefas incluindo domésticas.
Arrumar o escritório/sala de craft,  porque tinha mesmo que arranjar um lugar especial para a minha máquina de costura, não é?! Quando estiver tudo completo mostro aqui.
Também estive a fazer bolachinhas, dica da minha irmã B. e que são muuuuito fáceis e a receita está disponível aqui.
Depois veio a vontade do crochet e fiz este pequenino cogumelo que encontrei neste blog.
E finalmente, para celebrar o Halloween fiz esta pequena brincadeira para colocar na janela.

I had not even foreseen this post, but I spent the day doing various tasks, including housework. 
Tidying up the office/craft room because I had to find a special place for my sewing machine, it isn't! When everything is complete I'll show you.

I've also been making cookies, tip of my sister B. they are veeeery easy to make and which is available here.
Then came the will of crochet and I made this little mushroom that  I found in this blog. 
And finally, to celebrate Halloween I made this little joke to put in the window.
