Primavera!!! - Spring!!!

Para celebrar a Primavera nada como abusar das cores e dos motivos florais.
Estes quatro "granny squares" que para o desafio "Almofada Portuguesa" são muito alegres e qualquer um deles daria uma linda almofada ou manta.
O primeiro vem neste livro que comprei na Fnac o ano passado.
O segundo é mesmo muito fácil e usei as explicações do blog Jellywares e que ela partilha aqui.
O terceiro tão colorido fiz sem esquema.
E o último, já o fiz aqui e podem encontrar o esquema aqui.

To celebrate the Spring we can abuse of colors and floral motifs.
These four "granny squares" that a made for "Almofada Portuguesa" challenge are very happy and can make a beautiful pillow or blanket.
The first comes from this book I bought at Fnac last year.
The second is that easy, and I used the explanations of the Jellywares blog and that she shares here.
The third, so colorful I didn´t folow any pattern.

Para esta sexta feira tão cinzenta tenho mais dois quadradinhos do projecto "Almofada Portuguesa" e a acompanhar um chá de cidreira com biscoitos "Fidalguinhos de Braga", que já faço há anos e nunca enjoo deles!

Os dois quadradinhos de croché de hoje são esquemas que encontrei na net. Por isso, como tinha prometido, deixo-vos o link!

O quadradinho do malmequer com centro laranja, encontrei no blog Magia do Crochet, onde a Nélia descreve aqui.

Já o segundo é Lucy do blog Attic24, com as suas preciosas explicações aqui.

"Fidalguinhos de Braga"

2 ovos

250gr de açúcar

200ml de natas

900gr de farinha (se necessário 1kg)

raspa de 1 limão grande

Juntar todos os ingredientes numa taça grande e amassar com as mãos até que a massa se possa moldar.

Formar os biscoitos a gosto (os torcidos são os tradicionais) e colocar num tabuleiro previamente untado com manteiga e farinha.

Levar ao forno a cerca de 190ºC por 7a 8 minutos.

For this grey friday I have two more granny squares to the  "Almofada Portuguesa" project and with the company of a melissa tea and "Fidalguinhos de Braga" cookies that I do for years!

"Fidalguinhos de Braga"

2 eggs
250gr sugar
200ml double cream
900gr of flour (if necessary 1kg)
zest of 1 large lemon

Add all ingredients in a large bowl and knead with hands until dough can be cast.
Form the cookies (the twists are the traditional way) and place on a board previously greased with butter and flour.
Bake at about 190 ° C for 7 to 8 minutes.

Almofada portugesa II

Continuo a fazer trabalhos já iniciados e vou intercalando com mais uns quadradinhos de croché para o projecto da Almofada Portuguesa.

Aproveito para fazer alguns que sempre quis tentar mas ainda não tinha tido oportunidade, como o das florinhas azuis que vem neste livro.

Além disso, alguns quadradinhos que estou a fazer são modelos livres. mais tarde mostro aqui os resultados com os links.

Realmente parece que a primavera está aí a espreitar, mas por aqui até já nevou hoje e promete continuar!

Para o fim de semana de frio que aí vem , esperam-me mais uns quadradinhos , um bolo de chocolate e aquele pão caseiro de que já falei aqui.

I still do working in already started projects and sometimes a make a few granny squares for the "Almofada Portuguesa" project.

I take this opportunity to do some granny squares that I always wanted to try but had not yet the time as this one of the blue tiny flowers in this book.
Some granny squares that I am making  are free patterns and I will show later the results with the links.

It really seems that spring is coming but has even snowed here today and promises to continue!
To the cold weekend that is coming, I expect a few more granny squares, a chocolate cake and homemade bread that I have already mentioned here.

Almofada portuguesa

Almofada Portuguesa é um desafio lançado pela Mónica através do Raverly.
Foi uma excelente ideia em que cada participante faz 16 quadradinhos em crochet e vai receber outros 16 de participantes diferentes.
Estou a tentar que todos sejam diferentes e é uma excelente oportunidade para experimentar novos modelos. Alguns dariam almofadas ou mantas lindíssimas...

Almofada Portuguesa (Portuguese Cushion) is a challenge set by Monica through Raverly.
It was an excellent idea that each participant makes 16 granny squares  and  will receive 16 from different participants.
I am trying to make them all different and is an excellent opportunity to try new granny square patterns. Some would be beautiful pillows or blankets ...

Manta Outotno - Autumn blanket

Esta semana andei tão ocupada a terminar esta manta que até  me esqueci de mostrar mais fotos dos Pirenéus.
Mas fica para outra altura, porque agora tinha mesmo que partilhar convosco o resultado final depois de quase um mês dedicado a este trabalho!
Eu já tinha dito antes que este modelo é muito fácil, rápido e divertido de se fazer. Apesar de ser um projecto grande nunca me cansei de trabalhar nele.
A manta mede 1,20cm por 1,90cm e tem apenas 4 cores escolhidas pela cliente.

Quando tiver eu saudades de trabalhar este modelo posso sempre fazer um pouco da minha manta em tons de cinza e azul...

This week I've been so busy finishing up this blanket that I forgot to show you more pictures of Pyrenees.
But that is for another time, because now I had to share with you the result after almost a month dedicated to this work!
Just I've said before that this pattern is very easy, fast and fun to make. Despite being a large project I never got tired of working on it.
The blanket measures 1.20 cm for 1.90 cm and has only four colors chosen by the customer.

When I missed to work this pattern I can always do a little of my blanket in shades of gray and blue...

St Lary - Pyrénées - France

Estou de volta a casa depois de uma semana de férias na vila de St. Lary nos Pirinéus - França.
A maior parte do tempo foi passado a fazer esqui mas houve tempo para tudo.
Passear, conhecer a vila e um pouco dos Pirinéus.
Adorei tudo! A paisagem, de neve, campos cultivados e pequenas aldeias; as pessoas que são simpáticas e muito gentis; o ambiente, tão acolhedor; as casas tão bonitas e tão diferentes das nossas aqui em Portugal; o artesanato, em especial o que é feito em madeira e também as loiças tradicionais que têm as cores vermelho, bege e castanho!
E claro aproveitei também para comprar umas prendinhas para mim :o)

I'm back home after a week's vacation in the village of St Lary in the Pyrenees - France
Most of the time was spent skiing but there was time for everything.
Walk, and know the village and a little of the Pyrenees.
I loved everything! The scenery, snow fields and small villages; the people are very kind and friendly; the environment so friendly; the houses so beautiful and so different from ours here in Portugal; the craft, especially what is done in wood and also the traditional dishes that are red, beige and brown!
And of course I used also buy some gifts to me :o)

Durante a próxima semana vou estar ausente.
Umas férias de inverno sabem sempre bem.
