Coleção Outono - Autumn collection - (Dolls) part 2

A segunda parte da coleção de Outono é este conjunto de bonequinhas com novos tons como amarelo, laranja e verde escuro. Apesar de juntar alguns tons outonais não deixam de ficar super coloridas e muito alegres.

Aproveito para dizer que nos próximos dias vou estar ausente.

Vou passar alguns dias em Barcelona e gostava que me dessem sugestões (em especial às amigas de Espanha) de lojas de materiais no centro da cidade.

Pricipalmente algumas lojas de venda de lãs.

The second part of Autmun collection is this group of little dolls with new colors like yellow, orange and dark green.

I take this opportunity to say that I will be absent in the next days.

Alfineteiro - Pincushion

Agora que já comprei os alfinetes, precisava do accessório perfeito para os ter sempre à mão.

Há muito tempo andava para fazer este alfineteiro mas ficava sempre adiado.

Fiz uma pequena pausa na colecção de Outono na o fazer. É mesmo muito rápido e o resultado fica tão bonito! O modelo original é daqui mas podem ver a tradução em inglês aqui.

Eu gostei tanto que estou a pensar fazer outras versões talvez até colocar alguns na loja.

Acham que é boa ideia?

Now that I've bought the pins, I needed the perfect accessory to have them handy.
A long time ago I wanted to do this pincushion but he was always postponed.
I made a small break in the  autumn´s collection. It's really fast to make and the result is so beautiful! The original pattern is from here but you can see the english tranlation here.
I liked it so much that I'm thinking of doing other versions and maybe even put some in the shop.
Do you think this a good idea?

Shoping Day

A semana passada aproveitei as promoções da loja DotQuilts e comprei algumas coisas que estavam na minha lista de compras há meses.
Hoje recebi em casa a encomenda, fios em algodão que queria experimentar, uma caixa de alfinetes que me faziam tanta falta e uma agulha nova e mais confortável.
E ainda recebi duas amostras de outro algodão, muito obrigada Luísa!

Last week I bought in DotQuilts shop some things that were on my shopping list for months.
Yesterday I received the order at home, new cotton yarns that I wanted to try, a box of pins that I realy need and a new and comfortable needle.
And I received two samples of other cotton, thank you Luísa!

Romantic coin purse

Fiz estes dois porta moedas através das explicações da Calista, como podem ver aqui.

Ficou bastante diferente e como uso algodão para fazer os meus porta moedas tive que fazer algumas adaptações.

O que acham do modelo? Estava a pensar tentar também com lã para o Inverno...

De resto, continuo a trabalhar na coleção para este Outono. Na próxima semana já poderei mostrar alguns aqui.

I made these two coin purse by Calista tutorial as you can see here.
The mine was very different because I use cotton to make my coin purses  and I had to make some adjustments.
What do you think of the model? I was thinking also try wool for winter ...
Otherwise, I continue to work in the collection for this autumn. In the next week I can show you some here.

O Outono está a chegar! - Autumn is coming!

O Outono está mesmo a chegar!
Eu adoro esta estação do ano, das cores, das primeiras chuvas, da natureza a mudar e em especial as árvores.
Por aqui as cores de trabalho também estão a mudar.
Usam-se mais verdes, laranjas, castanhos... uma nova colecção para preparar!
Mais creative spaces (espaços criativos) aqui.

Autumn is really coming!
I love this season, the colors, the first rains, the nature changing and especially  the trees.
So here the work colors are changing too.
I am using more green, orange, brown ... to prepare a new collection!

20 dias sem dar novidades?

Não estava mesmo nos meus planos ficar tanto tempo sem aparecer mas o mês de agosto é sempre imprevisível. Com a família e amigos de férias as atenções ficam voltadas mais para eles. Afinal nem são raros os momentos que passamos juntos.

Entretanto tenho feito alguns trabalhos, principalmente porta moedas, mas ficam para mostrar mais tarde.

E apesar de ter vários trabalhos iniciados comecei mais dois novos para mim, uma almofada e uma pequena manta.

20 days without giving any news?

 It was not in my plans to stay so long without appear but the month of August is always unpredictable. With family and friends on vacation I try to give them more attention because they are rare the moments we spent together.

 However I have done some work, especially coin purses that I will show you later.

 And despite having several works in progress I started two new works for me, a pillow and a small blanket.

Já se torna repetitivo outro post de porta moedas, mas gosto de publicar aqui todos os trabalhos que vou fazendo.

Mesmo com algum atraso como é o caso destes porta moedas.

Neste momento tenho outros trabalhos em mãos mas ainda não sei muito bem o que vai sair daqui.

Another purses post It becomes repetitive, but I like to publish here all my works.

Even with some delay as in the case these purses.
Right now I have other work in hands but I'm not sure what will come out.

Depois das matrioskas seguem-se as kokeshis.

Adoro fazer estas bonequinhas, tão simples mas todas bem diferentes e cheias de cor.

Em vez das flores bordadas tenho optado por colocar missangas apesar da minha falta de jeito...

I love making these dolls, so simple but all very different and full of color.Instead of embroidered flowers I have chosen to put beads in spite of my lack of skill ...And which do you prefer?
