Just for Babies

Olá!
Esta semana mostro roupas de bebé novamente.
Ultimamente tem sido um tema recorrente aqui no blog porque tanto amigos como familiares foram pais recentemente.
Estas 3 peças, camisola, casaco e gorro fiz para oferecer ao bebé M (filho de um casal amigo) que nasceu em Abril. São para ele usar a partir do próximo Outono e espero que lhe fiquem bem.

Hello!
This week I show you baby clothes again.

Oscar

O Oscar é um boneqinho muito bonito e simpático que adora estrelas.
O nome Oscar surgiu quando ficou pronto e me fez mesmo lembrar o meu sobrinho.
Totalmente feito à mão em trico como o Lourenço e a Maria.
Fiz -lhe uma camisola em trico, sapatos em croché e costurei uns calções em malha.
Foi feito por encomenda para um menino loirinho de olhos azuis.
Espero que tenham muitas brincadeiras juntos!

Ando bastante ocupada com as encomendas e alguns presentes por isso só uma vez por semana venho aqui dizer "olá" e para vos mostrar mais qualquer coisa do que ando a fazer.

Oscar is a very cute and friendly toy that loves stars. 
The name Oscar came because remember me my nephew.
Totally handmade in knitting as Lourenço and Maria.
I made him a sweater on knitting, crocheted shoes and sew mesh shorts.
It was a custom made for a blond boy with blue eyes. 
I hope they will play many games together!


I've been quite busy with orders and some gifts so only once a week I come here to say "hello" and to show you something else that I am doing.

algodão para bebés - cotton for babies

Um conjunto em algodão muito macio para o bebé do meu primo H. que nasceu há duas semanas.
A encomenda foi da minha irmã assim que ela viu estes sapatinhos fiz e que podem ver aqui .
Como ela gostou das cores e do modelo dos sapatos o casaco surgiu nas mesmas cores, com riscas e neste modelo sem costuras como eu gosto.
Fiz em algodão muito macio e muito apropriado para bebés (Algodón Soft - Lanas Stop).
Espero que os papás tenham gostado! E vocês?

A set of very soft cotton for the baby of my cousin H. who was born two weeks ago. 
The order came from my sister C. so she saw these shoes the I made and that you can see here. 
As she liked the color and model of the shoes I made the cardigan in the same colors, with stripes and in this pattern, seamless as I like.
I made it in cotton very soft and very suitable for babies (Algodón Soft - Lanas Stop).

Em tons de rosa, azul e verde, a manta "Happy" vai fazer um quarto de menina muito mais alegre.
Eu gostei tanto de a fazer e do resultado que resolvi dar-lhe este nome.
É perfeita para acompanhar a bebé desde os primeiros meses.
Feita com lã muito macia e com tratamento anti-alérgico.

Vila Nova de Foz Côa - Portugal

Esta semana trago-vos algo diferente que queria partilhar com vocês já há algum tempo: Vila Nova de Foz Côa.
Visitei há algum tempo e fui completamente surpreendida.
É aqui o conjunto dos sítios arqueológicos no Vale do Rio Côa - Património Mundial - UNESCO .
Se lá forem não deixem de visitar o Museu do Côa porque é muito interessante e têm de lá uma vista imperdível.
É aqui que o rio Côa encontra o rio Douro e podemos mesmo ver parte da paisagem de socalcos que tanto marca o Douro.
A linha de caminho de ferro está (infelizmente) desativada e a estação em ruínas.
Aproveitem que as férias estão quase a chegar e visitem este bonito cantinho de Portugal.

This week I bring you something different that I wanted to share with you some time ago: Vila Nova de Foz Coa.
I visited some time ago and I was completely surprised.
Here it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site - Prehistoric Rock-Art Sites in the Côa Valley.
And of course visit the Coa´s Museum  because it is very interesting and there are an amazing view.
This is where the  Côa river found the  Douro river and we can even see part of the beautiful  landscape of  Douro.
The railway line is (unfortunately) disabled and the station in ruins.
Enjoy the holidays are almost here and visit this beautiful corner of Portugal.

para o afilhado J - for my godson J

O meu afilhado fez 6 anos há duas semanas atrás.
Como ele vai entrar para a escola em Setembro foi a oportunidade de tentar costurar o primeiro porta lápis.
Poderia fazer em croché como os que fiz aqui mas acho que ficam sempre muito femininos.
Ficou bem simples porque não queria complicar a tarefa e porque é para um rapaz.
Lembrei-me de lhe aplicar um J do nome dele, então fiz em feltro e apliquei à mão.
Espero que ele tenha gostado!

My godson did six years two weeks ago.
He will go to school in September and it was my opportunity to try to sew the first pencil case.
I could do it in crochet as I did here but I think they are always very feminine.
It was quite simple because it did not want to complicate my task and it is for a boy.
I thought to apply a J of his name, so I felt and apply it by hand.
I hope he enjoyed it!

Manta em cores pastel - Pastel colors blanket

Olá!
Esta semana trago-vos uma nova manta.
Eu estava a trabalhar nela desde o início do ano, mas um ou dois quadradinhos de cada vez.
Não me lembro de alguma vez ter feito algo deste tamanho com tantas cores.
Normalmente escolho duas ou três cores e no máximo quatro. Mas desta vez, queria fazer uma mantinha para bebé um pouco mais colorida, por isso usei várias cores mas em tons pastel. O branco está sempre muito presente nas mantinhas que faço, acho que realça as outras cores.
A mantinha em cores pastel vai para a loja.
Eu espero que alguém se encante com ela!

Hello!
This week I bring you a new blanket.
I was working on it since the beginning of the year but only one or two granny squares at a time.
I do not remember ever having done something of this size with so many colors.
Usually I choose two or three colors and at most four!
But this time I wanted to make a baby blanket a little more colorful, so I used various  pastels colors. The White color is always present in the blankets that I do because I think it highlights the other colors.
The pastel colors blanket  is in my shop.

Coelha Flor - Sweet Bunny Flor

As minhas aventuras pela costura continuam.
Depois do coelhinho da Páscoa, logo surgiu a encomenda da coelhinha.
O vestido foi sem dúvida o mais difícil. Nunca tinha costurado um vestido!
Por isso, improvisei este modelo bem simples em xadrez de algodão.
Os sapatinhos e a flor são algodão feitos croché.


Agradeço todas as visitas e comentários que fazem aos meus trabalhos.
O tempo tem sido pouco e não tenho conseguido responder a todos.

My sewing adventures continues.
After the Easter bunny, it come the order of other bunny.
The dress was undoubtedly the most difficult for me. I had never sewn a dress!
So, I improvised this very simple pattern in plaid cotton.
The shoes and flower are crocheted in ​​cotton.
